Is it not worth it without the 6 Fire setup? (assuming that's what you mean by Piety set)

Piety increases damage in steps, while each single Piety you put on is a loss of another stat lowering your damage a little.
250 PIE - Flare > Convert > Fire2 > Flare
302 PIE - UI3 > Fire3 > 6x Fire > B3 > B1
309 PIE - Fire3 > 4x Fire2 > Flare
315 PIE - UI3 > Fire3 > 6x Fire > B3 > Thunder
If you don't hit at least 302, then there is no reason to go past 250.
Lilith Piety Build
I haven't test it yet because I am farming the Soldiery to remeld my Lilith Rod. I heard so many good comments about the 6 fires rotation and BLMs in my server are speculating it's better than the current BiS with Dreadwyrm Staff so I want to see for myself. This build will only work under certain circonstances.
- You race need a base of 22 Piety. 21 if you sac 9 crit.
- LOT of Spd. 1,99 GCD with Selene, 2,18 without
- SCH piety buff + Ponzecake required
- 5900+ HP with Vit buff
You gain 33 Det + 54 Spd + 1 Fire in your rotation versus 2 WD, 26 Int, 118 Crit
I'm not good with maths but I would beleive that an extra fire makes Spell Speed even better than the current value

I'm expecting +26 PIE on Lilith based on WHM/SCH weapons at 120/130.
Yeah... this is not steady science. It could be 25 based on WHM or 26. I just prefer the worst case scenario since I haven't remeld yet. Regardless, if Lilith ends up with 26 Piety, it only means you can use this build with a 21 piety race. This still mean Dunefolk Lalas are BLM Master Race :3
My current Lilith has 49 Spd and 35 Crit (84 stats) I have seen some triple stats Zodiac with 83 stats so it would make sense that Lilith will give 26 Piety.
26 Pie + 8 Det + 49 Spd = 83 stats.
Wouldn't this work by simply having one 110 crafted gear (belt) with piety. piety lilith then respec your int point into piety so you don't have to give up any secondary stats?Lilith Piety Build

Penta-melded 110 is comparable to 130 in many cases. I could see giving up 1-2 INT to fine tune if you were right on the edge, but not all 30.
With pants you can give up 11 INT/12 VIT for 18 PIE, and still come out +8 on secondary stats. Body/Pants are the worst trade-off, the other slots are more favorable.
I see your point and it's a valid one. The cap on Piety on pants is 13. I put 12 Piety on it so you could say this is 12 int. 130 Pants gives 11. The reason I picked those crafted pants is because they are cap acc and second spd. It's easy to cap those.
The belt is a given, crafted 110 is BiS period.
You get 12 piety on the headpiece for the lost of 7 int.
However, it would be good to compare 26 Pie Lilith versus Dreadwyrm with 26 Pie, 4 Int spec.
Does 19 Int + 8 Det > 2 WD + 4 Spd + 37 Crit?
The spreadsheet would suggest Dreadwyrm is better but stats are dynamic, someone would need to do the calcs. Puro-senpai~

It could be higher but I can't test it myself right now I don't have spared pants lol. I'm pretty confident Lilith can't get 31 pie.
*edits*
The cap is 22 on the pants so you can put an extra pie 4 on it and put a quicktongue 4 on the head to get extra speed.
