    You made me laugh just now. That's part of why people get so upset. Back in the day you pay your $$ you get your game and everything in it. However during this day and age developers will purposefully leave things out of main games to use as DLC, or put them into the game right on the disc but make it so you have to pay extra to unlock it. Where as back in the day if you held back on putting something in the game it wasn't to put a price tag on it, it was because of time, or developing issues.

    There's a benefit and a drawback to everything.


    Back in my day unlocking something meant you had to beat something extra.

    Now and days it means you have to pay $9.99.
