I think you are missing the point here ...

Not everyone sees this game as a sport!

Personally I see it as a trip to Disneyland, for a grand old time, and I'm fairly certain I don't want some guy yelling at me to "walk faster", that we have to "finish all rides by 3pm".

Those theme parks are technically solo content though. You don't actually have to have anyone else be with you to go into the attractions.

Plus you are guaranteed to 'win' after entering said rides and shows. That's like having 2 different groups enter titan ex, one doing what they should be doing, another just pressing one button repeatedly while standing still and both of them winning at the same time.

Just pointing out people play the game in different ways.

FFXIV can be seen as a theme park with "challenges" and "time sinks" as SE charges by the month and want to keep our patronage as long as possible.

As for "guaranteed" wins ... the game is designed to be beaten. If not at the present, the sometime later when you outgear it.

If you aren't interested in winning, then you shouldn't have any issue with players who want to win not wanting to play with you anymore.

To be blunt, if players are failing to clear content, SE will just nerf it until they get their desired clearing rate.

This game is build to be winnable. You are not climbing Mount Everest here. You are running an obstacle course that is designed to be completable.

Yeah i read and im nothing like text says. I beated almost all this game has to offer (learning t10 at the moment) without dps calculation parser, without some computer voice, conting how many seconds before some mechanic will come and other things. I think it no fun to win something using this cheats. Yeah thats they are, they arent provided by the game, so its cheating and against the rules.

Yes, this game can be beaten, but you fail to understand that you have millions of people playing this gave interacting with each other. Just because someone skills isnt on par with your doesnt mean that they are bad or don't care. What alot of people, especially these "elitist", fail to understand is that people have different things going on in their real life that might prevent them from putting in the same time, effore, and commitment as yourself. Hardcore mmo gamers/ RPG'ers or whatever they call themselves are a very small percentage of the millions of people that subscribe to this game. Its the other players that are in the majority. If you chased away non-hardcore players, this game wouldnt last a year.

If you want players in general to not care about performance then you should probably direct that frustration at the encounters that are designed around set DPS checks and team jump rope mechanics with guaranteed drops inside of an RNG loot chest. Players did not create those encounters, they only wish to do them with the highest success rate possible and to that end usually take measures to discover how that's done.

So you're blaming the developers for some people being rude to other people who don't parse well?
