Then you'd end up with situations where you have to decide whose wedding you want to go to if you end up with two or more invitations for the same time, which is more likely to happen because everyone wants their wedding at prime time.

This does make sense, I guess they designed it this way to accommodate the guests, rather than the couples.

Registration for the platinum plan opens at 4am my time. My wife will not be awake at that time. I have work on Friday and can only log on from ~7pm my time to ~1am my time. This means that, even though I have the platinum plan, registration will always open 15 hours before both my wife and I can log in to the game, and that's assuming I have no Friday night plans, which I usually do. How the heck are we supposed to make a reservation? Why did they choose 1am PST anyway? To make it the same time on JPN and US data servers? That's beyond stupid! Why should it matter what time people halfway across the world are doing something? Why not make it a reasonable time, like 5-8pm?

SE's incompetence at implementing this content continues to baffle me. I guess my wife and I will have to wait a couple months to get married, even though we bough the Platinum plan. This is so stupid...

Unless like, people could cancel their weddings and you can take their timeslot. Then I just need to start a PF looking to pay someone a couple mil to move their wedding so I can have their spot...

About booking, all the stuff came only a few days ago and it is quite normal see everyone running there. Give it a month or so and the thing will soooo much eased.

Yeah, but this is something I spent $40 for. I paid money for products and I can't get them, and that really bothers me. If I had only spent gil on it, I wouldn't care, but I didn't consent to giving SE a $40, zero interest loan for several months.

Why is there only one instance? Why not two? What does having two do that one doesn't? Sure, two wedding scheduled for the same slot, oh no, people have to decide which to attend! But chances are VERY HIGH that you don't know those other people, and twice as many weddings can be conducted at once. This is just so mindblowingly badly planned, it's absurd.

I think the system is fine. However, they could and probably should put a detailed description about the reservation process on the purchase page. That way everyone will be informed about the possible delay, accepting it before buying the package.

What bothers me even more is I know a few people who are only getting married because of the stuff/benefits it got them.

I'm considering trying to find someone to marry just for the items. I wish they had an option for us single individuals to buy all the items without having to do all the wedding stuff with a partner.

Same. I'm not into the whole marriage/RP thing. I honestly don't even care about going through the entire ceremony and all that stuff. If I marry someone, it's basically going to be for the ingame benefits. *shrug*

So, because something works for you means it's fine for everyone? Most adults who work 9am-5:30pm every weekday can't be up at 4am.
