Um...y'know...just a thought, but... the Tokyo FanFest stream package is not up for sale yet, is it? I can see, just fine, an additional Christmas item or two getting added to the cash shop along with that. :/

Lets just not jump to conclusions.

We're better off jumping to conclusions so they can change this ahead of time and avoid the backlash if they have indeed decided to sell it. SquareEnix decided to add a cash shop to this game, and one thing that results from that is constant paranoia amongst the players regarding what will and won't be available within the game itself. People have a right to be worried and voice concern regarding this ASAP.

That happens just before the event goes live so I actually wouldn't be surprised if it ends up as a perk for attending the fan fest for a specific one, kind of like you kind of had to go there (or pay the premium stream) to get the mog suit.

Radio silence often means that they know it is going to be a shit fest when they say something about it so they try to get it going as late as possible.

I was looking forward to possibly having a holiday tree to put inside or outside my FC's house.

What we really need is a windup Starlight tree minion, that plays jingle bells.

Considering things have only been added to the cash shop at major patches and they already added the christmas items for this year, it seems kind of dumb to expect them to surprise us with adding the trees to the cash shop at a later date. What would that even accomplish? They'd sell more if they were available now.

Also, they're an outdoor furnishing. The most they would possibly sell is limited by the number of houses that exist, that's a terrible item for the cash shop. I want a tree but I don't have permissions to place things at my FC's house, so even if they're free from the event I don't have any reason to get one.
