You can do it.
Buy the first relict from the Salvager NPC and use it for glamour
If the weapons get used as a base for the next legendary weapon upgrade quests, the glow come back ^^

Most of these weapons have an "evil" motif to them. Black. Spikes. Bat wings. Eyeballs. Not really sure how I feel about that... Did all that grinding as Warriors of Light, and now we're toting Weapons of Darkness?
Hmm, I dunno. You weapon sure absorbed a lot of souls in the process of reaching this phase though...
Well, remember, we are making these weapons out of the souls of monsters we've killed--hundreds and hundreds of souls, if you grinded FATEs when Atma drop rates were low. Maybe the final step purifies them?
Yes, we fed our relict with souls
I like the monk one
This 10000000x. These things belong in a display case, not my enemies. The most threatening thing about them is their obvious value.I don't like most of them.
I've been saying this for a while but the raid armor and weapon designs since 1.0 have gotten way too overdesigned. The original AF and Relic were perfect and nailed the whole Final Fantasy feel IMO, then stuff got slowly more and more overdone until we're here with golden gilded wings on our butts and weapons that look like lightsabers because you can't see the physical model anymore.
It's a bit too much like Korean MMOs for my taste where they put etchings and skulls and stuff on any open space on a texture they can possibly find.
That Paladin Shield brah. That thing looks awesome. Dye it black and whoa! (or dye it w/e color you want)
Being a Smn main and the only job, aside from Dark Knight, that I will actually get a Zodiac weapon for I am curious as to what part of the Smn book is the dyed area.
I would guess at first the red area, second guess would be the black area, final guess would be the gold trim. I think the trim would probably be the best part to dye imo since it encompasses so much of the book.
Edit: Also... I am still wondering why they ripped the crystal off of the Smn's Viel of Wiyu and attached it to the Sch's Last Resort.

Well I think they look really cool, and who's book is that with the wings?? thats really pretty...I'm guessing SCH?
IIRC white book is for Scholar, black book for Black Mage
Confirmed!
But if I were to grind Atma and get it, would I then be able to buy Bravura Zenith from this Calamity Salvager, or does he only sell the basic Bravura?
Also, IIRC, when you Glamour a Relic into another weapon, the glow effect doesn't show? Is that true for all glowing weapons? (IE Glamour'ing the ilv.110 Soldiery weapon into another one, will it glow?)

He'll only sell the vanilla version. That means no zenith glow, Atma skin, animoose, noobus or sexus glow. You'd have to repeat the entire process again.IIRC white book is for Scholar, black book for Black Mage
