Well most axes look like mere blades affixed on a stick with no design at all. This one screams "EVIL", probably why many people like it. I find it decent, maybe a bit too convoluted though. Hard to make an axe look really good...

Nope, it's just PREVIEW WINDOW. There are never any glow showing on a preview window...
Worse case you can get a weapon of iLv.125 or more and then Glamour your Zodiak Relic to it if you want the model without the glow.

Well those who datamined them have been able to find the items tagged as "Dyeable"... Until someone gets the real deal (if he's blessed by RNGesus otherwise we're gonna wait a bit) we can't confirm it 100%

Not only that, I don't like how they all share the same design concept. It makes them feel really less individualized like the previous incarnation.

Ah, I remember using Preview Window to "try on equip" some Relic weapons and the 110 Soldiery weapon... BUT it was sheathed, and you can only see the glow while unsheathed.
I guess I need to unsheathed my current equipped weapon to show the glow on the Preview Window of another weapon I wanna see.

That said, all the current pictures available of the new Relic Weapons seem to not have any glow, while being unsheathed...

Probably why they allow Dyes.
