SE is free to speculate on their intellectual property as much as they want - as long as people pay, they would be absolutely dumb not to exploit this.

These complaints are useless - vote with your wallet, as that's what really matters in the end. SE will decide accordingly.

Let's hope you don't come to regret this attitude later. I know a lot of people who have outright told me they have cancelled their sub, and a lot I have not seen since shortly after 2.4. People who had logged on regularly for years.

I don't want this game to fail, even though I have cancelled my sub also, so I don't want to see SE alienate its playerbase by stripping down features into a free version and a paid version.

And come on, don't act like the sky is falling. Rest assured that SE does not want this game to fail either since, you know, it's their job. For us, it's only a past-time. If the game fails, THEY will be the ones with problems.
A couple of dyes in the Cash Shop is hardly going to make the game fail.

You might know "A lot of people who have canceled their sub", but I know "A lot of people who joined recently". Our personal knowledge is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, so you should not project your personal experience as if it was the general trend.
