3.I conserve anima, and since I am one of the mages of which you speak, it i just as annoying to be constantly asked if you can tele someone somewhere just because you had the gaul to walk through down dressed as a Mage.

5.Yes, I happen to like the zones, especially since I know there will be new maps one day. Also, there are underused parts of each map now. And while yes, there are obvious copy+paste parts of the map, there's also plenty of interesting things on each map that they are slowly making more important via the storyline and quests.

Bard is coming... so you at least get one of your wishes

My main point was this, if you expect this game to be FFXI-2 then you're going to be disappointed. FFXI is still out there and still has a community of dedicated players who play it. And while it is okay for you to want these things, it is just as okay for others of us to NOT want that.
The "I don't tend to lag" statement doesn't register, because the game has built in lag tied to any menu actions due to the server-side architecture. Move your mouse up and down the menu and watch the bar lag behind, trade items to your retainer and watch the system lag severely.

In FFXI I never looked for a party, I just built them. I enjoyed PUG'ing quite a bit and still do today. Playing solely with a guild or linkshell seems very limiting to me. PUG'ing is a great way to make new friends.

Having played WHM in FFXI, I personally never found people wanting a teleport annoying, again this was a great way to meet people. That said I can see how someone might find it unwelcome. The tele-taxi was a good source of income in the early days of FFXI though, and it made teleports available for all, all the time. Since this game has had a lack of alternative transportation, this could have only been beneficial, and since this game allows anyone to equip most any skill, they could certainly set teleport-spells as equipable by anyone, removing most of the pain you would experience as a mage with teleport in town.

If there will be new maps one day, I have to stop and wonder why they are adding clandestine things to the existing maps. This seems like creating content that is scheduled for deletion which makes no sense whatsoever when your game is floundering.

I never expected the game to be FFXI-2, I expected the developer to improve beyond FFXI. Instead they took many, many steps backwards.

The fact that the races look very similar, only serves to remind me constantly that this could have at minimum been FFXI-2, but instead is some sort of twilight zone FF game where many aesthetics were lifted from FFXI, but everything fun about it was discarded.

I am all for them creating content, events, and so forth, after they fix the obvious things.
