

Had the premium weddings cost crazy high amounts of gil, it would've been a big boost in sales for them.I can't see how that would be a massive or major anything to the gil sellers. If someone is bent on risking their account security to get gil, then it's way easier to just contact one of the disreputable sellers than to drop 10 or 20 bucks and hope someone will buy it from you.


Absolutely it would have.
To NolLacnala's point, I'm not seeing how people reselling them in game from the cash shop hurts the gil sellers though. Anyone who would buy gil is already willing to take a risk on their account and it's easier to make that leap than to use the mogstation and then sit and hope someone will buy it off of you for a decent price. So it doesn't affect their usual customer base at all.
I do like that the free option includes the outfit (even if it's not dyeable), hairstyle, and new emote. Also that the rings are a relatively low level GSM craft. I was worried that they would make it hellish to get.
