I still want to know what is the dreaded item people are willing to pay insane amount of gil for, instead of buying it from the cash shop. The wedding necklace really can't be worth 400k [people really pay 19M for a glamour jewellery piece? -.-]) to anyone and the dyes are untradeable.

People buy the wedding wrist that allows, upon completion of the eternal bond quest, to get the mount, the minions, the outfits, for in game money.

I dunno about that 19M, but people are easily able to shed 3M for the wedding Bracelet (which is REQUIRED if you simply want the Dress/Tuxedo + Emote + Mount + w/E else is given during the ceremony).

I got 400k gil just doing the main storyline + couple of roulette every now and then. Crafter classes and retainer using people can play the market boards and juggle with millions every day easily, since there are so many RMT millions in circulation.

i think the funniest thing about this is people acting as if selling of wedding bands was intentional and it wasn't them making a glaring oversight that gives people an "official" way to buy gil <_________________<

Every game that gets a cash shop has these alarmist people saying it's P2W. Sigh.

Gil =/= best gear in game.

So, the argument falls apart. Legal RMT? So what? That's what Wildstar is doing. Bottom line, if you don't like it don't buy it. There is nothing in that cash shop that stops you from playing this game, or achieving anything.

Gil = buy t13 clear, etc. You can buy your win and so called best gear evar from coil with it.

This is p2w.

I wouldn't say that this is fault of the Cash Shop, rather, it's a lot safer to say that this is likely an oversight by the developers. The pay-to-win aspect that the OP and everyone in here is discussing is more towards a player-created pay-to-win. The "advantage" is also player-created because it is the player that decides to sell it and it is the player that decides to buy it. The Cash Shop as no control over player transactions.

I'd like to believe that the main reason why the the Bracelets were made tradeable was so that you could gift your friends that want to have a Gold or Platinum plan, but are unable to purchase it themselves, as a present and a sign of goodwill. What happened instead was the players selling them for gil instead. This is not a pay-to-win by standards, but it was made that way by the players.

Still, we need an official stance from the GMs or the Devs. We don't know for sure what they will think about this. Just after 5 minutes of PF I got around 10 messages on the line of "Me and my FC will report you for RMT", "You're going to get banned for RMT", Ecc...

Edit: I'm trying to get contact with one of the active GMs on Ragnarok, if I get something out of this topic I will bring it here.

that wording doesn't even remotely say anything about gil or money though, it's just telling you the bare bones facts: trading the band isn't a violation of the tos. which is obvious.
