Gender locked Eternal Bond outfits

I'm okay with the idea of a man wearing a dress, a woman wearing a suit, and everything in between. What I'm not okay with is how Square panders to the female sex with how they can universally wear everything and restrict males from having any identity. That being said, I'm okay with the suit being gender locked because it gives my character a sense of identity. I play a male, I wear a suit. You play a female, you wear the dress. Until Square removes all restrictions (which I'm okay with), I do not want them to make an exception for Eternal Bonding.

They probably just thought there wouldn't be enough demand to be worth the extra work of adapting the dresses to twice as many character models. (But yes, I too wish they allowed all gear on either gender.)

no no no, he loved it. he just could not say so at the time because they would have thought he was weird, and cause he was hyped on on Mako and Soldier he couldn't show his true feelings. after his bath in the Lifestram he got all his feeling back and Loved it.

When the bridesmaid/bestman outfits came out, people said they wanted stuff that was locked for males only, to give them something special, since females could wear a lot of the things that were "supposed" to be male only. They give a male only outfit, and people complain. I think this is a case of no-win for them. Besides, at least that dress is gorgeous, I can't wait to get it, myself!

I never saw this bit cross the forums when the items came out... Mostly just the people showing off how easy it was to buy cheap high level desynth stuff.

It's that way because marriage in game is not marriage in real life. In Eorzea, men wear suits and women wear dresses. Your beliefs or rights are not reflected within the lore of the game.

I don't get it why SE made Bestman suit for unisex in the first place and then lock the Wedding outfit now.
If you want to sell the non-genderlocked in the cash shop I'll be happy to buy it, if not then you are just being lazy about it.

nearest I can tell the only thing the partners getting bonded have to wear is the wristlets. I looked over the site and couldn't find anything else so you should be able to wear the best man suit if that is what you desire. I'm considering the best man body with the spring skirt cause I love how it looks.
