I would imagine so, but that made buying dyes very sketchy, a lot of people aren't going to do it without the seller offering collateral for trading over the gear, then you have to think, what if they just want the money for the gear and don't buy the dye. Then you're stuck with gear you won't use, less gil, and a useless dye.
I am well aware of that, they work the same as the other metallic dyes that could be acquired in-game and just like those dyes people are selling the new ones in a roundabout way by putting up PF groups to sell the dyes by having a person trade you the item that they want dyed, you dying it then trading it back for the agreed upon amount of gil, hence why I called it a roundabout way of selling items.
Check out my reply above your post.I am well aware of that, they work the same as the other metallic dyes that could be acquired in-game and just like those dyes people are selling the new ones in a roundabout way by putting up PF groups to sell the dyes by having a person trade you the item that they want dyed, you dying it then trading it back for the agreed upon amount of gil, hence why I called it a roundabout way of selling items.
Yeah this one would be harder to work around than just flat out "here is the item, trade the gil". Still think for continuity of "no p2w" SE should make everything in the shop bound and all byproducts of the shop's work bound - and if it is arguable the by product is p2w then SE should feel ashamed to have it in there. Or at least if they continue to do something like that I'd have to go, there is no way I can play a p2w game - I'm not without money but its principle ('my' imo).I would imagine so, but that made buying dyes very sketchy, a lot of people aren't going to do it without the seller offering collateral for trading over the gear, then you have to think, what if they just want the money for the gear and don't buy the dye. I read your post.
The new dyes work just like the other metallic and special dyes and people have been selling those over PF. While doing things this way requires some level of trust between the players doing the transaction and may cause some people to be unwilling to buy dyes in this manner, it has not stopped it from happening.

Until people undercut to the point that RMT nets more gil for your dollar than cash shop. The people getting screwed deserve it, though.Just because something is "RMT" doesn't mean it is inherently evil. If anything, the current setup should help curb bots, spammers, etc as people that were looking to do this sort of thing will go to SE for it instead of an outside source. Less spam, less bots, lets hacked accounts and stolen credit card info all around. This is a good thing.
They'd have to have a "middle man" for the trade. So at least 1 person would know.... unless they bought a whole new account just to trade themselves lol.
If whatever you're shooting doesn't die after you pump 8, 32 caliber, slugs into it, it's probably a dragon.
