LOL, enter alts with players that know the mechanics well enough that gear is a bonus more than requirement. Come on guys this is an easy fix.

I don't think it'll be as bad as on expects. I know a group that does runs two groups with eight players, so they do two runs with 4 mains / 4 alts ea. That's a total of 16 chests in total.

    If they do the following:

    8 mains = 8 chests
    4 mains / 4 alts = 4 chests
    4 mains / 4 alts = 4 chests

You're still totaling 16 chests. Overall, the same amount of chests gained.

And no, you won't be able to sell T10 to four new players to stay above the loot threshold. Heck, I see it difficult for players to carry one player through T10 due to the way the mechanics work. That one person needs to have a rudimentary understanding of how the turns works and when s/he will be going in to soak teether or charge. That will change if we get to a point where the OT can absorb both without incident due to gearing of course.

    Edit:

It is if you correlate the fact that clear sellers get Gil from players who buy their services and then make a widely broadening assumption that people who purchase the clear services also purchased Gil via RMT. Therefore, it makes perfect business sense for clear sellers to also sell Gil because they can get their Gil back while making a killing on real money transactions.

...seriously, there is a line of reasoning about that.
