Personally, I'd rather take this than have more instances of groups getting stuck on things like Atomos.Which is incredibly silly, in my opinion. Even casual players get bored of "gather up + AoE = win".

If you're not good enough to get past something...that's...usually how MMORPGs were. Teamwork and skill is (was) important and if you don't have it do you truly deserve to progress?
Vast majority of players don't know how to adapt and improvise.
-If Pad dps getting wiped out or having a difficult time killing adds, Atomos dps divert to adds until they can catch up, but no, the dps on Atomos feel they should ignore any trouble pad dps is having and continue to pointlessly attack Atomos and trigger the incoming wipe.
-Tank on adds having difficulty controling adds or even worst died? The tank on Atomos needs to get the fffff off Atomos, but no, the OT stays on Atomos regardless of whats happening with adds and contune to pointlessly attack atomos and trigger the incoming wipe.
The mentality? Players think Atomos is a dps race, when its not. It's a add control encounter. 2 teams can ignore atomos while 1 team kills their atomos, allowing the next team to step off their pad and put more focus on atomos, and repeat for team 3
Not rocket science, just a manner of fitting shaped blocks into their respective holes.
You don't have to remind me of how Atomos works. All I'm saying is that it is a testament to what Syrcus could have been like if they made the trash packs in any way remotely difficult or mechanics-based, and is why I'm incredibly thankful that they didn't.
