Just noticed a miqo'te with some pretty cool pants and upon checking what they were, my eyes bobbed out of my head.

Is this a bug of some sort or what? I haven't seen those trousers anywhere before.

They're glamoured as Elezen tights, but they loom like dex based poetics pants. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if you glamour something as something you can't wear, it just takes the original non glamoured appearance, which would seem to be the case here.

There is a glamour on the gear but since the char can't wear it the look doesn't change.

Oh, I see. So perhaps this person used to be an Elezen and hasn't changed her glamours yet. That makes sense.

It works the same way if you glamour Grand Company gear and change Grand Company. Like Glamouring a Storm's Sword, then switching to Flames. Except choco. It will retain it's GC gear until you take it off. So.. if your REALLY patient, you could have 1 piece of each GC gear on your choco. But you wouldn't be able to change it back without swapping grand companies back again.

But there appears an icon when the glamour can't be applied and I don't see that icon there. (Some kind of red triangle down, look at my image, I have one GC stuff I can't gear anymore because changed from storm to flames for lulz)

I think it's because it's not the player's gear.

That only shows on your side if it's your gear, it won't show on another person.
