
As long as you or your group kills it and you are within range, you would get credit along with your group members. If you are on the other side of the map fighting 1 on 1 with none of your party members in range, only you would get credit.I suppose healers will feel disadvantaged by something that rewards kills. Also, who would get the "kill"? The person who deals the last damage on a player, or the person who dealt the most damage to them before they died? If it's about the last hit, kill stealing would become a rather annoying thing.
If it's a "participation" thing, as in, rewarding anyone who was involved in a kill being made, that would make sure healers don't feel left out and it'd also get rid of any kill stealing complaints.
