Are you really surprised? There's more but I don't feel like going over it all. To be honest it doesn't seem like they're trying to lie or be dishonest though. It just seems like they don't really know 100% what's even inside the game or how it works sometimes.

Welcome to what happens when you decide to try to discard the previous version rather than build off of it. It's clear they're more speaking in terms of their ARR plans but forgot they imported over some stuff from 1.x. Most ARR stuff is actually sectioned off nicely, a lot of 'all classes' items through leveling were from 1.x.

You're way off base, here.

See here's where your argument goes off base: Unless you're working with this in-house only engine that Square is for ARR, you don't actually know if it's "the same" as the work you've done. Heck even using Unity compared to UE3/4 is vastly different in the same methods. So while 3D modling and the like is generally the same, the logic usually depends on the engine. Also, the 'all classes event items' are simply so people don't get locked out of wearing event items if they happened to choose something that can't wear it.
