    Nerfing the Anima System is needed in my opinion. It's really nice to have sometimes, but a mount would be better. (Which were getting) With the start of the 7th Umbral Era include it into the lore that only those finely attuned to the Ather can teleport via spells. ie mid/high rank DoM, and have a long cool down.

    As one poster mentioned. The current Anima System in FFXIV with God Mode turned on.

    I would revise the teleport system, but not abolish it. I would rather see the anima cost loosely based on distance. For example, to teleport from Uldah to Blackwater would cost 1 anima, but to get to Drybone would cost 2 anima. Crossing a region border would be an extra point. Also, I think all teleports should be initiated at a crystal; no more teleporting from any random location. That function could still be done by a spell or skill, possibly, but the crystals aren't so few and far between that it is much of a burden to run three minutes to the nearest one to initiate a teleport.

    We already had that system, and people cried foul. I'm for decreasing the amount once chocobos and airships come.

    teleporting is just fine. I run and teleport every where and at any given day I only have 30 anima. airship will help me get across the ever expansive maps of FFXIV when i'm really low or need to conserve for the parties that call me in at the drop of a hat. and really how would a casual player get around in the alotted time they have that day. Please leave the teleporting alone.

    Why must you feel the need to punish your self with such tedious task, especially in a world where teleportation can exist, you choose to deny it.

    I absolutely agree. Its a good system, especially for people with little time on their hands for when they do get in the game, but I think it should also be capped to a lower amount after we have other modes of transportation.

    I can't believe there is actually support for this idea... Why remove it? What harm is it causing? If you want to tele-taxi just make some alts. However, I do agree with the fact you should have to reach the destination before you can tele there like in XI.

    Just exchange this cheat teleporting tool with another system that makes more sense then just being able to teleport around.
    Implement items like teleport stones or teleport materia or let DoM port with magic but remove 'anima'.
    I wish I could delete this function as a full point in the main menu.

    I consider myself to be a Final Fantasy fan but that doesn't mean I have a fetish for giant spiked dildos. Why are you assuming that in order to be a fan of the series you have to be into that stuff? I also don't see how spending 5 extra minutes traveling makes you hardcore or how that amounts to a challenge. Lol.

    Chocobos and airships will get plenty of use even if the anima system remains as is. Forcing players to play how you want them to will only frustrate them more.
