Yeah no - you want to destroy the only somewhat decent social hub (aside from awkward overfilled Toll)?
Why not improve the other 2 instead?

The funniest part of this thread: all of the people who didn't read that it was his connection that was his problem and not his computer, but then again....people don't know how to read even in the 21st century, education is amazing isn't it?
The very best hub is actually your house, quick access to more than limsa offers such as a single npc for buying crafting mats and one for repairing stuff for buying stuff next to your fc chest, an armoire, a retainer bell and soon a fishing bait npc, while right outside your house you have a moogle mailbox, chocobo stables, gardening plots, a training dummy, a second retainer bell and a marketboard.
You get all this and a cheap teleport, making using anything but the house a huge waste of time. If you don't have a decent FC house, you should really work towards one.

Assuming you are playing from a PC. Change game's settings and limit showing NPC's to Normal or Low. Your system won't load every player but only those near you. Your fps will raise and no big lag problem. Also consider to upgrade to a better CPU+RAM if you have a very old system. This is a case of "Read through; find a reason, and blame it on that single reason without reading the rest of the OP" syndrome.
I'm glad there are still some people who read the entire post before jumping to conclusions.

It wasn't as bad before 2.4, though. A lot of it is from rogues and ninjas just hanging out because it's convenient. Maybe it will be less bad once the ninja craze is over.
