Your proposal is actually to return the Limsa Aetheryte to where it once stood. Back in 1.xx it was on the upper decks.

Well I kinda hope they don't change the location of the Lomisa I like it how it is but for the other 2 area I want it to be close to the market board everybody wins so the stress will be split in to 3 city instead. But uidah botter are camping there soooo ya....
{No thanks.}
Assuming you are playing from a PC. Change game's settings and limit showing NPC's to Normal or Low. Your system won't load every player but only those near you. Your fps will raise and no big lag problem. Also consider to upgrade to a better CPU+RAM if you have a very old system. From SE part now I would suggest to expand cities a bit more. Limsa seems so narrow and small the same goes for Gridania which seem like a small village and not a real city state. Ul'dah seems ok without problems except if you don't like travel to dark alleys hidden behind the city to find a MB. A 64bit client would also help. C'mon SE its nearly 2015 we need a 64bit client.
This sounds like another one of those Balmung Problems, much like how Personal Housing always gets instantly bought up on Balmung and other servers are like 'Wut?'
Balmung Problems are the Eorzea version of First World Problems.
Don't mess up the game for the rest of the world because of Balmung. Nobody else has any issues with Limsa Lominsa.
Lower Limsa Lominsa has a growing population problem. I'm sure all of you have noticed on the higher populated realms how congested it gets around the Aetheryte. How it sometimes slows down systems and causes slow load ins.
Well look at it.. You choose to warp to Limsa Lominsa and what is right there, right at the Atheryte Shard? Auction Houses, Retainers, Vendors.
Limsa Lominsa has a serious population control problem and EVERYONE is in Limsa because of the above mentioned easy access. How many people do you see around the Ul'dah or Gridania Market Boards and Vendors? Definitely not as many as Limsa because as soon as you warp in; their they are, everything you need all in one convenient place.
This is a big problem for the higher population realms because Lower Limsa Lominsa is one of two of the most populated places on the server and it makes wanting to go there a pain.
Whether you have a quest turn in or need to get to a friends housing district; if you don't feel like walking into Limsa from one of it's outside zones, you have to warp in.. and let me say it's a clustered Hell In a Handbasket with AFK'ers, Crafters, Queuers, Marketboard Surfers, Retainer Checkers, Vendor Sellers, and people who generally run by to get from point A to B. And during the Holiday events the lag is even worse.. It's like I zoned into the Shroud zone that Odin is up in.
My proposal..Move the Limsa Lominsa Aetheryte to the After Castle in Upperdecks. You know that wonderful Location where you host the decorations for in game events near the Delivery moogle and calamity salvager? And move the Holiday locations down to where the Aetheryte used to stand. A 'simple' flip flop.
This change would help lighten the stress of connections some people have when they load into Limsa and would make them go to Limsa more often.
I know I'm one of those few who hate having to go to Limsa Lominsa because of all the lag and stress it lands my computer in, and my computers top notch; my connection? Not so much.
Touch anything in Limsa and I promise you that the Admiral will go into decimation mode with her dual guns. Having everyone and everything in Limsa is all in her long term plans for world domination.
You need to turn down some of your settings if this continues to be an issue for you. Either that or invest in a more powerful PC... or get a PS4.
True story.
"After ten years, finally headed to Sharlayan... absolutely stoked"
just allow us to teleport to shards instead of the big aetheryte.
