Problem with male miqote - it's playable
They are suppose to be rare in a female predominant race...
But then you get this

Keepers are hunters, beng dark makes sense so they are harder to spot at night ^^ Whats easiest to spot at night? A white cat or a black cat? Point made ^_^
Just like the Tiger developed stripes to help with camouflage, so did the Keepers develop genetically.
no see, you are quite assuredly thinking of a different game know as Final Fantasy XI, however as you can see among several place in this very website, this game is actually Final Fantas XIV, its understandable as manymake the ver same mistake that you have done
Point not made. It doesn't pertain to what I was replying to. The person that I quoted said that it made sense for Keepers to be very pale and Seekers to be tanned because Keepers are nocturnal and Seekers are diurnal. If that was the case though, we wouldn't have any Keepers in the dark grey to black color range - they would all be very pale. Even your nocturnal camouflage theory doesn't really hold up because there are many pale Keepers. It seems like the devs just kind of assigned "cool" skin tones to Keepers and "warm" skin tones to Seekers.
I think most of the faces made are ugly of each race it was hard to choose which one because of that reason but not just that.
Reasons..
Some look like they have downs syndrome, some look like young boys face attached to a mans body.
Body movement while running and walking, ELZ male looks stiff while they run like they have to take a crap and running to find a bathroom while butt cheeks are clenched.
I was elvaan male in FFXI and was going to be one here after I seen that I was like no way, even faces of Elz were ugly not much to choose from either its something I would like to see in the future more faces added.
Also fixing the elz male body movement while running or walking cause they are stiff as a board and hands glued to the sides reminds me of the bug glitch in ffxi when the weapon was below you.
I'm more worried about the freakishly long necks and creepy shrunken heads on elezen. They look like those unholy abominations from the Mario Bros. movie.

Though there are ten suffixes listed above, rarely do even the largest Keeper of the Moon families have more than two or three sons. This is not by choice. Nature merely sees to it that more females are born to this race.
press change pose emote and slide the slider down to 0, and you will never see that pose again , problem solved, as for markings they are there to show age difference, for instance the smalest markings are on the baby face one low left, than up left etc etc
