If it was for stats that'd be one thing, but in this game there isn't really any reason to be concerned about the stat differences between races, meaning everyone is just playing what they want to. Besides, I'm sure we'll see a bunch of the new race, at least when it first appears. Doubt it'll shake things up drastically, but who really knows.
