Except half the Keepers I see have skin in the charcoal to onyx range. That makes no sense at all.

It was the same during 1.0, only with more color shades now

I was male miqo'te when first time play this, but unfortunately because all race except highlander and roegadyn don't have muscle slider, I use Fantasia from first month subscribe to change into Highlander. If only all male have muscle slider... I could change back to male miqo'te again.

I honestly like Miqo'te most when it comes to currently playable races. I'm not exactly satisfied with how mine turned out, but I'm saving the Fantasia in case I like the looks of the new race enough to play it. Lalafell's are fun to make, but they're just too short for me, makes it hard to see the outfits as well. And Elezen/Roe are tricky to make look good, at least to me. And not much desire to just play an ordinary human.

But blah blah, different tastes for different people. But I tend to like pretty boys more, just with my taste in men.

I mean, srsly, to each his/her own, but don't you think it's a bit drastic to demand a complete change to the male race? I mean, I don't find too many of the Elezen male class attractive, myself; save for a few npc (...hello Alphinaud. Srsly, The Twelve help us all when he turns 18...), but I'm not gonna ask for a complete makeover of the race. :s

What is true is that their default hand pose looks bad - I understand the reasoning, but they just went overboard with it, "ready to attack" turned into "look I have arthritis"; would also prefer a face looking more forward than down in default idle pose, and maybe a proper /sit, not a squat disguised as such. But really, that's it - and actually, these and pretty much everything else is explained in / comes from lore, so....

That said, I do agree that almost everything in character creation could use a lot more options, especially in a game where closed skill trees account to having clones on a more-than-enough level anyway. Why on earth would not all males have a muscle slider for example is baffling (and no, I'm not interested in arbitrary excuses, such as packets and network load, we don't live in the 56k era anymore).

i am not sure what you mean? the character i have now is my only character, not an alt. i made a female miqote because it is the ebst looking for armor..i guess you can call that eyecandy...but the majority was because lalas are too small, elezen are too big, same for rogs and highlanders..and midlanders have just some really akward poses imo, miqote however (both male AND female) when adjusted to the smallest height, are perfect for how i want my character to be.i am specific when it comes to design and style.

I was a mancat for a while. Two weeks before I realized they just don't work for me cause no matter how you try they just feel too young for me to have a connection to my char, their hair selection is godawful due to having to work around the ear placement, their ears destroy headgear, their tails obstruct the view of their rear, eye markings, they have no muscle slider.... To name a few.

Never been happier than when I switched to Roe. Made me forget I was ever a Midlander since 1.0 release. I'm telling you, looking back at my old screenshots makes me go "Whoa, who the hell was that?!" Now, I mostly have no issues with other feline players. SOME of them actually do look very nice. The others have derpy faces but, every once in a while a cat will cross my path that will make my blood boil >.>;;;
