Spiritbond parties are usually full, so I have to solo spiritbond. I'd also rather not attempt to do spiritbond parties when some of the big-name FCs have bots in their ranks on my world.Maps are so easy to get on your own. Sell peistskin maps on the market, use the others for your purposes; treasure coffers usually have a piece of gear you could use to spritibind, convert it into materia, then sell that materia. Coffers can also have unhidden leather maps which you can either sell for mad gil or open it and hope the materials are rare and valuable (usually it is so).
And you don't always need the adventurer in need bonus. Just doing the roulettes once a day racks up your default bonuses.
I managed to save up to 5 million gil (with minimal spending) just doing dungeon runs, roulette runs, treasure maps, etc. Yes, it's not fast, but you can still get a ton of change doing the small things once a day. You don't need to be a hardcore crafter or content runner to make millions in a few hours.
You have BTN and MIN at level 50. You could probably make about 100k (assuming your prices aren't too different) in an hour of just gathering clusters. And that's not even taking advantage of everything available to you from gathering. Not even close.
I only have 353 gathering (Miner) and 331 gathering on BTN, but yes, clusters I can gather every now and then and darksteel. All cluster prices on Ragnarok are 700+ Gil per one (Save for Ice, which is 580)

I'm honestly expecting the flying mount to be a new mount. If they make any changes to our current mounts, the only thing I could see them doing is making them faster. Something like increasing the run speed from 100% to 150%. Something similar to what WoW did when it upgraded their mounts.
353 gathering is enough to get Grade 3 Thanalan soil, that along with treasure maps, doing Ixal dailies (which are still very profitable for non crafters), gathering clusters or ores and so goes the list...
Honestly, excluding those people with land availability issues, anyone who claims to have no gil for a house is not even trying at all, so many ways to obtain gil without devoting your life to crafting, with very little time investment as long as you don't spend all your earnings right away.
believe it or not, Peisteskin maps are 4k less than boarskins for some reason, lol.353 gathering is enough to get Grade 3 Thanalan soil, that along with treasure maps, doing Ixal dailies (which are still very profitable for non crafters), gathering clusters or ores and so goes the list...

My comment is this, I'd like to see mounts given a "SPRINT" option like the character has. The cool down can be longer but the short burst of speed would help to get to locations a little faster, especially if grinding fates. H
Which is my other comment, can we STOP with so much grinding, you have to grind for everything in the game. Either dungeons or fates, but GRIND GRIND GRIND. I play to relax, but it's getting to the point that I fell I leave work, and come home to work more. The game has lost it's progressive feeling.
I hope our regular companions CAN Fly!! If ANy Chocobo's can, I hope R.30 Companions unlock a "Fly" Command. So Dope. I'm only R. 11 . . . but dayum.
On a side note, whatever happened to barding giving chocobo stats? wasn't this a thing? Now it's just there for looks.
Barding could be obtained that allows companion chocobos the ability to fly.
Might be something cool they could add later, allowing our companions to continue to be useful.
Do I think flight should be locked behind higher chocobo rank? No.
You sure do have a lot of excuses for people trying to help you out. Can't do this... can't do that. You can make what you decide to put into it. Best I've personally made in 7 days is about 2 million gil. I typically stick with trying to make about 15-50k daily though because I usually only put in at most 1-2 hours (if that) into gathering items to sell.
#1 Gather treasure maps daily. Sell.
#2 Retainer quick exploration every hour. Sell. (do some fates to get seals for more ventures or levequests)
#3 Weekly challenge log.
#4 Levequests. Profit.
#5 Gather lumber. Sell.
#6 Get carpenter up to walnut. Make lumber. Sell.
#7 Mine Ore. Sell
#8 Get jeweler up to silver. Make silver ingots. Sell.
#9 play the MB. Buy low, sell high (infrequent but can work)
#A Scour MB for everything under vender value. Purchase, vender.
#B Dungeon runs in between everything else.
#C Dungeon runs for items that sell. ie. bloody knives, fine wax, etc. Sell.
#D ***Make your own spiritbond party***
