am I the only one that thinks Dimitrii doesn't have the slightest clue of balancing or just doesn't want casters being able to atleast having a chance against another class?

blackmages left untouched in frontlines become a problem. Any job that isnt a tank or healer in frontlines focus-targeted will melt caster or not, we prioritize Blackmages in my matches because of sleep (being annoying as all hell) and their AE damage. In 1v1 situations you most likely will lose if you let a melee get within range of you.

Stick with a group make sure your healer realizes your going to be attacked because of your damage output and work with it.

You are not the only one.

The problem is that for you and the others who agree with you, you're not understanding his point and really are just plain wrong.

The best blms in pvp i know think they're overpowered, and they are because they maximize their role given their limitations and understand that a blm's role in pve is much different than in pvp. I have never once heard any one of my blm friends complain about getting interrupted into oblivion because they know that this is how the game works and their skill lies in being able to fulfill and adjust their roles even under pressure.

When a blm gets space to breathe they turn into a complete monster. When they don't, they can't, and that's how it should be for any job you play in pvp.

When any dps has a free run they turn into a monster. The difference is what you can do when you have one person attacking you. Other dps can continue to push out damage under simple melee attacks, have much more utility for disabling the attacker, and most of the skills on shorter CDs.
