    That's fine. Keeping your dots up on 3 different mobs cost about 2000 MP per minute, and does around 400 DPS by itself.

    Energy Drain X 3 gives 798 MP. Passive mp regen is 1200/min.

    No brainer, if your not sure about this take a summoner go to a training dummy and see how many full rotations you can do until mp lost. Do it without Energy drain and Aetherflow first. Then do it with them and watch it drop slowly but surely with every cycle through your energy drains. This happens to me even in hard mode Ultima's bane cause you are constantly able to attack him the entire fight.

    Just making an update to this post I made. SMN can burn a lot more than 1300 MP/min doing a max damage rotation, but for very little gain.

    Another point, while SMN can reduce their MP consumption to ~900/min (Passive Regen @ 2% - MP used) I didn't include the MP you get back from Aetherflow, so that could be confusing.

    So @ 600 MP/Aetherflow you are only 300MP/min usage doing a near max rotation -/+ 10 DPS - That will pace you for a solid 10 minute fight using only Festers to burn your Aetherflow. For the majority of long fights, you also have a great opportunity to multi-dot that more than makes up for the loss in DPS to not do your optimal single target rotation.

    Having to raise multiple times does suck. 800 MP (><) That's where you end up burning your 3 AF on Energy Drain. Luckily in longs fights it doesn't account for a huge loss in damage. 30 Stacks -> 3 Raises -> 9 Energy Drains

    21 @ 300 Potency -> 9 @ 150 Potency - 16 DPS loss -> Hopefully you've been Auto Attacking where possible.

    I did some testing the other day with +piety gear on smn. The MP regen in and out of battle is directly tied to max mp/piety. So when i equipped all healing assesories it was a good bit of +mp regen. Obviously there was a dip in damage, around -25 per tick of bio2. So what i ended up doing was respecing my nexus since i had max det already, and +23 crit, i dropped the accuracy I had on there and threw on 22 piety. Seems to work out pretty well with no loss in DPS.

    Yeah and using i110 with PIE Is not worth the damage loss of not using higher tier gear.
