I cleared turn 1 in Darklight with Relic. It was the standard way back when yes.
The point has nothing to do with the way the game was played when we were trying to clear first coil when it was released.
Anyway, again the point here is the way spiritbonding is done now. As someone who's been playing since 1.19 or whatever i shouldnt have to be guessing where and how my gear is spiritbonding. I know they patched it but they patched it and its not very easy to determine where the gear will properly spiritbond. Were it so easy to know i wouldnt have gone to Urth's Gift nor gone to Halatali.

Interestingly enough, I just updated my Spiritbonding guide with dungeon info, and I'll have another update to it in a few days after I'm done compiling info.
But to answer the question in the thread title: you put together the information they gave us, and then go out and test in. If it works well, then great, if it doesn't you go back and reevaluate your test. Sometimes you don't get it right the first time around, so you keep creatively trying things until you do find something that works.
whats your point now? you wanted to know if its farmable with ilvl 70 craft, yes it is, you have echo + 115 weapons which compensate the ilvl with ease
takes 4 t4 runs to bind a set of full lvl 70 craft stuff (HQ melded with 3 materia), which takes approx. 20 min with a pf group or 30min via df
average outcome are 4-5 t4 materia out of 11 items
Nobody cares.(if youre so sooty as to think me or anyone below you, you can go check my achievement history, here i'll even link it and save you the trouble.

Somebody call the waaaambulance. Oh no i had to do a couple of Dungeon runs before i worked out the best spot for SB my gear! SE spoon feed me more plz ....
Youre extremely un-useful, rude and incorrect, as well as totally missed the point.
The point is instead of creating content to achieve a very in high demand task required for vast amounts of jobs classes and roles, they simply removed an already working option (spiritbonding in the open world which has been going on since 1.0) and changed it to just do more of the same things we are already having to do over and over and over for tomes, gear, quests etc etc.
Its lazy game development.
Get off your high horse and at least pretend to be helpful or dont post.
Actually, Katchoo did give you a helpful post - Run T4 - even gave you the avg wait and run time. I have yet to queue as anything but DPS to farm it for items to desynth or use and I have yet to wait more than a few minutes to get in. Two wipes in a couple of weeks, and those were because of lazy tanks/healers. Spirit bond away.
You keep having a post-boner for how long you've been playing; had you been playing so much as you said you would have read the patch notes forever ago when the change happened and you wouldn't just be finding out where to spiritbond. This isn't 2.4 changes bruh.

The patch notes do not state where you spiritbond each specific item level of gear.
Err... all the stuff you could spiritbind in the open world can still be bound there. The only difference is you can't SB stuff vastly lower level than the content (you never could SB stuff vastly over-levelled for content). I doubt there were many folks running grade 1 and 2 materia items at Urth's Fount anyway. This mostly affected people taking level 49 accessories into level 80 dungeons.
