Also this game was pitched as essentially not requiring alts.

Simple way around that. Dump stuff you want to give to alt in FC chest, pick up stuff on Alt. Some people in my FC do it all the time.

That's not the only issue. Also, that's a terrible solution/workaround (susceptible to theft, etc.).

You keep saying etc. but you don't come with even two examples. There is one reason the game isn't alt friendly and it has a workaround that isn't a risk if you don't closely associate with assholes.

People have beat t13 in 110 gear so why do you need multiple classes with free 120 gear?

This is grasping at straws. Nothing has ever got stolen in my FC when people have transferred items to alts. Why would you be in a FC if you didn't trust the people in that FC. Also the game has a log of who takes stuff. The odds of someone in your FC is constantly checking the FC chest just for that moment when you are transferring items to an alt so they can steal them which is logged in the game is slim to none.

Also I know a guy with 4 nexus weapons so yea if you have the time you can do more then 1 nexus.
