If i understand the OP, you want to limit the game for the less "skilled" player-base...

Most players in this game could survive by just "eating" progression, if you stop their progression they will stop playing, i leave the rest of the story to your imagination... you should inform yourself a bit before posting, because there are lots of mistakes in your posts.

1-40 is an absolute BOREFEST. The most redeeming factors in this game (for me that is), are the raids and extreme primals. Some dungeons were cool (mainly their bosses), but most is just a dragged out trash grind. Required crossclass abilities (to be effecient) forces players to level something else entirely too..

DO NOT make the journey to 50 any longer.

If you're so elite that you're annoyed playing with people less experienced than you, why not make a party with your FC, LS or heck even Party Finder? Duty Finder's not there to serve your elitist needs, it's there to help everyone, and help forming cross-server parties when there's a lack of players in general. You wouldn't want to fragment the latter, really.

'Casuals' won't get yelled at if people like you don't yell. Being helpful and understanding is not that hard, unless they're French and don't understand your language. (.....)

this OP is the most ridiculous nonsense I've heard on the forums in a long time... how the hell do you even propose to implement any of these ridiculous and idiotic changes? To what end would it serve other than yours? How can you tell in the DF that players that suck are casual? What makes you so sure they aren't and elitist raider playing an off class and they are just bad at it for now?

I don't know,it seems like many "top spot" players always fly into a fit of hysteria whenever a discussion to make game "easier" or "more accessible" to newbies is brought up no matter how little it is. It's like they totally can't accept the idea of losing their special snowflake status on a video game or something. Sometimes I wonder if these people are actually ok with the games dying and shutting down as long as their name stay on the spotlight of its dying community. I know there are some people like that who migrated from games to games in my past MMOs.

I thought of the class / job separation because I think just because someone is not a pro they should still be able to play FFXIV and have fun. Why you guys call me an elitist or crazy? If I were an elitist I would simply want the game to be harder so less skilled ppl can't even play it, like FFXI was long time ago.

You're being called those things because your idea is a little ridiculous. Think about if they actually did what you're suggesting. They make job quests harder so unskilled players wouldnt be able to do them as fast.. ok then what? Do you think those players would just accept that and be like "oh well, can't get my paladin skills, so I'll just play gladiator instead."? No. Just no. Your idea is very limiting and very selfish.
