DRG has been broken for far too long. Fix it SE

So, When just MNK was better than DRG for dps it was fine, but now that MNK and NIN are better, DRG has become the WAR of 2.0 and its the end of the world?

Well, a lot of people already complained about it in the past. The big difference now is progression groups that wanted to split the gear of the two melee will do their best to avoid bringing dragoon since ninja has a different left side set. With goad and all the utility/burst ninja brings it would be silly to bring a class that requires more healing, has less dps, and is severely hampered by positional skills.

ehm? mnk and drg have different left side set too , only share right side...and if u change drg > NIN ....u have the same issue but with bard now.

Drg Mdef needs a buff we all agree on that , but saying that DRG are worthless and no1 will take a Drg to Coil is far from true.

I think what he meant was when the choice is between a DRG and a NIN - all other things being equal (ilvl, skill) - the party leader will prefer the NIN because of DRG's other weaknesses instead of just flipping a coin because they are both equally strong and useful. That's not good game design. Last night I was talking with a guy in my linkshell who also mained BLM and he's jumped on NIN. Says he loves it and won't come back to BLM. NIN is his new main.

I'm glad that they made the job fun, but it doesn't need to trample all other jobs. Monk doesn't either, for that matter. It's time for DRG to be tweaked.

To clarify what I'm saying is if people want to avoid double stacking jobs for progression, though monk + monk is OP. You would bring a ninja over drg because of all of drg's weakness compared to ninja's strength. You see both jobs share RIGHT side accessories with another and that is unavoidable, but by bringing a ninja you can feed your monk (which is better than drg currently) and push content faster.
