It's the aesthetics of it all that bothers some people. I'd be a little offput if something like Flare ended up doing less damage than a fireball despite the overemphasis on the former's effects.

I mean you have something that deals a "3 hit combo" being one of your strongest hitters as a PLG, yet an attack that either involves smashing into the goddamn ground to create shockwaves or a "5 hit combo" which has you kicking hard enough to create visual shockwaves does equal or less than that.

It's a nitpick, but hey, I'm the sort of person that's extremely bothered by the concept of the relic lore.

Demolish does more damage than Bootshine if it gets in its full duration, but the amount of damage isn't the OP's complaint. He seems to want Demolish to do more of its damage up front because new players don't know how to calculate DoT damage. They might see what appears to be lackluster numbers and forgo using their best attack because at a glance everything else seems to do more damage.

Instead of asking for the ability to be changed, the OP should be asking for tooltip clarity in relation to DoTs; "Deals 270 potency over 18 seconds" is a lot more clear than what we have now (especially since nowhere in the game does it mention DoTs tick roughly every 3 seconds) and would alleviate a lot of potential new player confusion.

With this character's death, the thread of prophecy remains intact.
