Attention devs: Game Surveillance Unit re: open world Bots.

I made this thread nearly 2 months ago and haven't heard a single thing from the Community Team.

Why does one player deserve a response and another doesn't, especially when botting is a major issue that threatens the credibility of this game?
I am thoroughly confused. If you don't intend to respond, please say so and I'll stop updating. Sick of wasting my time, do I not deserve some level of respect? The GM's told me to post this thread, I didn't do it on my own accord.

So I only have a couple of days left on my sub so I thought I'd contact SE about please sending me a serious response about what they plan about doing about the open world bots in the game and this is what they sent me:

Until these 4 spiritbond bots are gone then I will assume SE have done nothing outside of what they have been doing.
If we as legit players say "hey SE, here is my bot report with all the details you need", then SE have a duty to investigate those bots and ban them if found to be running on automation. This is still not happening AT ALL. All player reports are COMPLETELY IGNORED.

Here are the ones on Tonberry right now, Mor Dhona X18 Y17, happily botting away. They'll be here tomorrow, next week, next month, into 3.0, until SE starts actioning reports.

I understand how you feel. But I hope this thread never dies. The CT might not respond but this thread rises awareness and the forum visitors can see and keep in mind this problem and maybe some of them bring it up to the development team whenever they get the chance. In general it will not allow this matter to be swept under the rug in the player base eyes and SE will hear about it from the people who left the game.

Same here, I logged in after yesterday for the first time after not playing for a couple of weeks and I swear bots have doubled on my server. And they don't even try to remotely hide anymore, how hard would it be for a GM to log into a server and observe how bad the bots have become and start banning a few of them.

so i normally dont take any screenshots, but here you go, here is a bot that has been gathering for over 7 months now, probably longer, i've reported it, had other people report it, still here.



i just dont get it, by not doing anything you are forcing players to start botting just to catch up with other people on the market, which in turn risks their account, and the subscription that you rely on to keep the game going
