Attention devs: Game Surveillance Unit re: open world Bots.

Same characters (all BLM) repeatedly interacting with NPC Kazagg Chah and porting into what looks to be a class quest (50 quest for Wizard's Coat). They jump as they come out and repeat. One even managed to get stuck under the ground somehow.
Square Enix would you care to take a look into this and ban the bots that are doing this?
One can only hope. This game has more of a low standard free to play feel than ever.

I saw 3 bots yesterday but I didn't take a screenie. They were in Limsa all standing around the arms mender. They weren't doing anything, nor did they have "away" symbols. But all three were lv50 BLMs with basic gear (shirt, pants)-one a hyur, an elezen, and a lala. I should have looked them up on the Lodestone or posted a screenie anyway but I was not sure what to make of them. I looked around for a fourth member (maybe someone crafting as others have seen?) but I didn't see one. If I head back in that direction later today, I'll see if they're still there.

My suspicion is that once they hit 50 they bot the class quests until complete, don the class gear, and start botting treasure boxes in dungeons (WP) for items to sell on the MB. Convenient for them since you no longer get sent to your bound Aetheryte if you fail the class quest. They can just port straight back in by talking to the NPC. They are only in WP for a few minutes at a time so one can only imagine how they are getting to the treasure boxes that fast. If these are the types of bots that SE does actually ban, they are not doing it quickly or thoroughly enough. I suspect it's an automated tool that detects these ones if at all. Open world bots are unmonitored and all player reports are being completely ignored.

Stumbled on these chaps while out looking for my weekly hunt - didn't find it but found these guys instead. (central thanalan 28,20 moogle server)



Teleporting into instances every 60 seconds or so, and the same bots I previously mentioned are still at large, no point even reporting them is there?

Feels like there isn't. Haven't gotten a response about any of my reports. No one has responded to this thread (or threads like this).

Your bots at least have the decency to be hidden in a corner somewhere. :P

I have reported many times in Tonberry but I don't think they will get banned because no one take action, and these bots still going around with us until know and in the future, which I doubt what SE said "better service".

Another mid-level bot. This one lv 39 in East Shroud (20,28). It looks like the other one I posted, but it's a different name. Reported.

No response from SE at all, I take this as lack of intent to take action. Guess we'll be seeing the same bots + more into 2.4 and beyond.
