Next Primal for 2.5? Possible Odin or?

I'm pretty sure all of the actual 2.X primals are out and done. I can see an Odin trial being ready, but other than that... all I can think of would be a rematch with Gilgamesh, an EX version of Ultima Weapon with the power of all of the 2.X primals rather than just Ifrit/Garuda/Titan, a fight with Omega Mk. I (the weakest version of Omega) being controlled by Teledji Adeledji, or something related to the Gold Saucer.

Will we even get a 2.5, considering the fact that they want to release the addon in spring 2015?
I don't think so.

The devs have stated that there will be a 2.5 at FanFest, and with a recent error in the 2.4 patch notes with items meant for patches 2.45 and 2.5 being included by mistake.

Patch 2.5, afaik, will include the following, but will not be limited to:

-Crystal Tower: The World of Darkness (Final Boss: Cloud of Darkness)
-Free Company Airship Building

Doesn't mean Ravana, Bismarck and other primals will be the main focus. Almost the entirety of 2.0's story so far is focusing on stopping the Primal threat to Eorzea. I imagine in the expansion, it'll end up like "Oh, there's another Primal. We have to stop it." then move on with whatever will be the main story focus of Heavensward.

I'm placing bets on 2.5's story focusing on either Omega Weapon or Midgardsormr (The latter since they mentioned it quite a few times after defeating Shiva in 2.4's story, surely there's a reason for that).

I'm secretly hoping we're getting another Praetorium-esque dungeon in 2.5 though. They did say they plan to make the 2.x series go out with a bang, after all. Not as big as the Calamity however. A man can dream...

Two or three main scenario cutscenes show the ascians talking about their "true god" Zodiark.

Please no, only if it's a solo dungeon or it has no cutscenes, the current prae/cm already caused enough heat due to the long added minutes of cutscenes.

Seeing as how 2.5 is the last patch before the expansion, I reckon we will focus more on finishing the current storylines. I think we might not even see a primal battle at all, instead we will fight the current Ascians. Since Zodiark is a known esper in the FF universe, he might be the next primal battle, but I think he will be the final boss of a new dungeon/raid and not a trial battle.

With the way he's built up, he seems like he'd be the "Promathia" of XIV. I can't imagine fighting Zodiark in some random patch, but as the focus of an expansion and the climax of it I can see it happening.

Isn't Zodiark the dark Hydaelin-like crystal we saw in one of the main story quest ?

In 2.5 we should have Gilgamesh "8-arms", the last part of Crystal Tower and the finale of 2.X
Omega could indeed makes its apperance. Could the last dungeon be Agrius with a Midgarsomr prime at the end ? ^^

We still don't know what impact they will have on the story, lore wise all the beastmen worship deities, going by this lore they can add more primals as they add beastmen.

For 2.0 the main story theme is the Garlean threat, then once we get through this story arc the next is the primal threat. the 3.0 storyline is going to focus mostly on the war between Ishgard and Dravania, they can however still have battles with the new primals, it will just not be the main focus of the storyline. All storylines move off the main focus for a bit then go back. So they can add primals and their fights, just not have it the main focus as it has been in the latter half of the 2.0 storylines.
