Thread: Next Primal for 2.5? Possible Odin or?

I wonder who the next primal is going to be for 2.5? We've got the most common ones, Ifrit, Titan, Shiva, Bahamut, Ramuh, Leviathan and even Garuda. I remember something about the Odin Battle challenge going to be avlible to the public so 2.5 might introduce him as the new primal or will we be seeing a new primal all together? oh thoughts and ideas!

The Odin trial will probably be available through some special token you can get in the future, similar to XI's Princess and Hero challenges where you fought notable NPCs from the different storylines. As for next story-based primal I'd imagine Zodiark will definitely be one of them, it's all but a given.

ahh Yes Zodiark! Kinda forgot about him and they did say something big is gona happen before 3.0.

With Bismark being a Primal in 3.0, it looks like some of the lesser known summons are getting their time in the sun. I'm hoping to see some classic but rarely used summons like Kirin, Maduin, and Doom Train,

Alexander might not even be a sure thing at this point for an actual primal. Diabolos, Siren and Fenrir were all regulated to throw-away dungeon boss status.

Diabolos, Siren, and Fenrir are also not that major when it comes to potential summon status. Siren especially, Diabolos/Fenrir at least have a few more games under their belt. But Alexander is still more important than them. Not saying we'll see Alexander, but it wouldn't surprise me, they just need to find some justification for it.

And I expect we'll see Odin as a Primal fight in 2.5, or maybe something new. But Odin is really the only one that would make much sense at this stage.

Doom train is in the game already ^^

So many possibilities. (2.4 spoiler ahead)

Not sure if it's time for Zodiark yet, Zodiark seems to be a major enemy in this story, more important than Bahamut (considering Bahamut was used by the Acians to cause enough destruction to summon Zodiark - unless I'm wrong), 2.4 also hints the revival of Midgardsormr, who once revived I guess will bridge the current story to the Dravania - Ishgard war for Heavensward, I wouldn't discard Odin as a regular primal battle either. There's also Omega... not a primal but could serve as a major battle before Heavensward.

And with that mention of Omega it made me think of shinryu, he would make a good primal.
