Didn't the devs want to get away from primals being the focus once 3.0 hits?

Doesn't mean Ravana, Bismarck and other primals will be the main focus. Almost the entirety of 2.0's story so far is focusing on stopping the Primal threat to Eorzea. I imagine in the expansion, it'll end up like "Oh, there's another Primal. We have to stop it." then move on with whatever will be the main story focus of Heavensward.

Next possible Primal or notably called "Trial" would be
-Odin
or
-Omega (Theyve been talking about it since 2.3, it should be a thing)

lol they have already announced the first 2 primals for 3.0 an their respective beastman tribes. Bismark & Ravana.

We still don't know what impact they will have on the story, lore wise all the beastmen worship deities, going by this lore they can add more primals as they add beastmen.

For 2.0 the main story theme is the Garlean threat, then once we get through this story arc the next is the primal threat. the 3.0 storyline is going to focus mostly on the war between Ishgard and Dravania, they can however still have battles with the new primals, it will just not be the main focus of the storyline. All storylines move off the main focus for a bit then go back. So they can add primals and their fights, just not have it the main focus as it has been in the latter half of the 2.0 storylines.

Considering they said Hildebrand's story isn't going to continue in 3.x without fan input, yes. We still need CT finale as well.

I still find it odd that they needed fan input. I figured it was obvious that the Hildebrand sidequests were generally well liked.
