RMT bots and Farmer Bots

Somehow I think SE is really not enforcing or even cares about their ToS. I'm still seeing RMT bots spamming even with the Friend Request and Bot Farmers that continues staying in the same place farming the same mobs and material 5days straight.

Reported them and what do you know. I'm still seeing them spamming to my other friends and FC members. As for the Bot Farmers. They keep coming back between Monday-Friday with their unresponsive acknowledgement of players around and attacking their own targets.

Also the Bot Farmers are so obvious to see that they are flooding the Market Board doing most of the Undercuts, thus destroying the market value meaning hard earn Gil is just a waste and hard thing to earn now with them selling unlimited 99stacks at the cheapest price.

The Bot farmers come in a party of 4 with all of their Chocobo out and split into 2 areas. You can literally see they are just farming straight by standing at the same location as if they are on Macros which are not.

A. They ban in waves, so its hard to notice bannings in the short-term.

B. They purposely let them run around for awhile in the hopes that they can track them to the main account that's dealing with them.

C. There are a lot of them, and they have to personally check to make sure they are bots, they can't just ban all of them based on a few reports. When they happens its a headache for everyone involved.

Sorry these are incorrect assumptions. The same bots have been in the game for many months and no bans issued. Perhaps they are catching some who are blantantly teleport hacking for example but the current system is missing most who bot.

If this is true why after 1 year of the exact same bot's farming basically the same locations day after day they are still farming, after a year of these supposed "Investigations" you would think they could track who it was.. or else they are the worst investigators on 2 legs

I just know these are the "official" reasons I've seen/heard. I know on Siren it's honestly not that big of an issue, but I'm fairly certain Siren is smaller too, so I'm not sure just how bad it really is on the large servers.

It's not a visible issue on Balmung, to my knowledge, and it's one of the largest servers. The only issue is chat spam, really, and usually there are only 1-2 bots spamming shouts, and once those get blacklisted, then it's usually pretty quiet. But then again, that's just my perception. Someone else may have severe problems instead. Or it could be that my server is nigh impossible to create new characters for. I dunno.

check the MB for elemental shards, grade 4 materias and demimaterias. Here you have usually where RMT hurt the game the most. You can check, there are 8 bots in Balmung who farm materias 100% of the time since the beta, mostly in south shroud or north shroud. When I was in balmung, I was often forming PK parties to get rid of them for the day and ruin their business

Maybe I'm having a hard time understanding some of your terminology, but... you're from Cerberus, and PK (player-killing) isn't a thing in FFXIV. So... I'm confused.

I moved a week ago, I was on Balmung before that. and you can PK... sort of. You can include a player in AoEs and kill them that way. For RMT it's just that simple : wait for them to attack a mob, begin a trade, watch them die. PK in a game without wild PvP. you just have to form a party of 4/5 people to begin trades with all the bots at once and wait 3/4 minutes for them to die
