Not sure if your joking around or not but that post is an april fools joke, it says so right at the bottom. If this was an intentional joke and I derped I am sorry (I am half asleep XD)

yeah but the next day they posted 3d models http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/pr/blog/000694.html saying that the lie is stoping now. I wouldn't lose this option from my mind for now

Spring 2015 in trailer... and once again the "Viangaa" -> I come to the conclusion that the release of 3.0 will be April 2015
Well, knowing SE they may have some troubles and delay it about one Month, so my guess is it will be released around May or June! (Depending if they plan it early April or late April)

If you read the whole thing it states "We thought that the joke ended there, but it seems like one of the character designers took it upon themselves to create this model...". Which implies heavily that the models are also part of the joke and that a designer just wanted to go that extra mile to trick people but was to late for the actual april fools post. If that is not enough they also state "By the way...the new race won't be Viangaa, so make sure you don't get your hopes up, Viangaa fans!" Viangaa being the name of the 3D model race. So I would not expect that race anytime soon. Sorry to dash any hopes here XD.

it says right on this site:
"the new race won't be Viangaa, so make sure you don't get your hopes up, Viangaa fans!"

You really don't know what that word means, do you

i looked for an other word, yes ^^ but when you speak 4 languages sometimes you mix some vocabularies up
