Can confirm the 3 Jungle Catfish for the buff. If you had to catch 4 there might be something else to it, either you accidentally fished somewhere else after catching the first one or weather might be relevant as well but doubt it. You wont break the catch chain if you get the "fish sense something amiss" as long as you can just move and still fish in the same location. Fishing in a different one will break it however.

If you catch Canavan (which can be caught at every time during gloom, no weather combination needed) you'll get a 23 min buff which allows catching the legendary Kuno the Killer

I fished 2 magic carpets in less than 10 mins and no buff. But I did have a insufficient one time during a 3x heatwave with 359 gathering.

To hit that do you need all of the new Forager's gear? I'm still at BiS for <2.4 (i.e. 393 with food/fc buff). Just curious what you are using.
