...and this isn't. There's no reason to knock it away from tank if you're going to sleep it. The tank can use flash to build enmity on it so that it does not come after you when it wakes up, and the dps won't pull it when it they switch to it.

This is a viable reason not to raise someone. What I was saying in the OP is that some healers just say "f*ck u dps" from the beginning and never planned on healing them from the start.

When I see WHM spamming liquid aura, i would like to kick him instantly.

As I was leveling my tanks yesterday one WHM pushed me bosses and other mobs away, so that I had to run big circles to face away front AOE from the party again.

When I'm playing monk, I could kill such ppl, that pushes away the mobs I do attack currently. That low amount of dmg LA do is not worth to kick it out of my range. In many times I also lose my stacks because of this, which causes additional dmg loss.

Same as a caster, when the WHM causes LoS cast interrupts by this.

    Well, if there's a WTFWHM there's also a WTFTANK:

    -Unable to use combo's
    -Unable to Flash/Overpower
-Unable to wind-up combos for upcoming adds
-Blows all/a bunch of CDs 5-10s before a pull
-Blows all CDs on one pack and has none for the next
-Prematurely pulls before the healers are done buffing (DPS don't need stoneskin! Right?)
-Pulls even though the scholar is applying adloquium/succor (look at the casting bar!)
-Loses agro on pull because not everyone was ready/still buffing up and blames it on others.
    -Too hyper to stand still
-1 or 2 black mages in party: Still pulls one pack at a time
-Tanks that don't tank (Syrcus Tower scenario)
-Not tagging every mob they could have tagged while passing through them (flash/overpower or lobbing/tomahawking while running)
-Don't know what Provoke actually does
-Stays in field AoE damage (Tam-Tara HM second and last boss) <- yes, this DID happen

    Did I forgot anything?

Edit: Actually, I did forget some:

    -Tanks hitting slept mobs
-Thinks healers are only there to fill up HP bars - Healers can do more than just fill HP bars

    -Pulling with provoke.

As a WHM I keep stoneskin on my party all the time, intact I frequently spend half the dungeon chasing party members trying to cast it, so sometimes the WHM isn't casting stoneskin because they're just sick fed up chasing after you. Don't even get me started on "ERMAH GERD LITZ PLL BOSS BEFORE BUFFZZZ" tanks then "ERMAHGERD WHURS MAH PRTCT" that follows because I now have to practically protect everyone separately because theyve all spread out and thus take a huge dent to my mp.

If I see WHM's using fluid aura my com is not going in their direction. Same with aero pull and if Im the tank I just stand there and watch the monsters beat them up.

As for raising people, I raise people if my MP allows for it (I don't want to raise you then have 100 mp left when I have 3-6 more people to take care of) and if you're like some people I keep meeting in ST and take every single avoidable aoe to the face + multiple avoidable deaths you can stay dead.

Also that WTFSCH that camps clerics and just expects the WHM to solo heal the whole raid/trial without asking if said WHM is comfortable with this. Edit: Actually in general anyone that decides to ignore mechanics that consequently means the healer has to heal more before asking if the healer is ok/can do this (refer to sig).

LOL great post Lyrica. I agree.

In regard to healers that don't raise. I can be like that, if and only if, you keep dying over and over.

For example, a few nights ago, I was doing runs of Garuda EX to try and get a Xanthos mount. There was a dragoon who kept dying. Each time, he would die multiple times. I got sick of raising him, so I stopped. If the other healer wants to waste that mana, just for them to die again, then so be it.

Many bosses and some of the larger enemies (dullahans) are immune to the knockback of Fluid Aura. I think it's okay to use it on them in such cases, although you have to get in melee range. Some bosses such as AK and ST bring you close enough to them to use it as part of the game mechanic. Other bosses like those in coil are just too dangerous or heal-intensive for the healer to get that close.

    My favorite WHM problems:

    - Misuse of Fluid Aura is a serious offense. This includes knocking mobs away to Repose; the intention is nice, but no. Please don't do it...unless MAYBE you're in lvl 15 Sastasha and your tank is completely asleep at the wheel. And even then, consider carefully.
    - Gross overhealing even when very little AoE damage is incoming (e.g. Medica for no reason followed immediately and invariably by Medica II).
    - Gross underhealing due either to overly conservative MP management or Cleric Stance tunnel vision.
    - Complete failure to use Holy as appropriate during trash pulls.
    - Unwillingness to DPS at all when heals are unnecessary.

    SCH:

    - Hoarding Aetherflow stacks for no reason.
    - Never DPSing. Seriously...when your DPS comes from DoTs, Lustrate and Embrace are unaffected by Cleric Stance, and Lustrate is available as a 25% instant off-GCD heal, why the hell aren't you helping things along?
    - DPSing with tunnel vision activated.
    - Not managing the fairy.

I will refuse to rez players who die repeatedly. I'm not rude about it; I simply won't say anything and won't attempt to rez when I've already dumped nearly 3k MP into rezzing one or more players who couldn't stay alive in the first place, much less now with the Brink of Death debuff. It's not about punishing them for being bad or inexperienced; it's about how much MP the raid can afford for me to hemorrhage when the surviving players might have a shot if I continue to prioritize supporting them, instead.

    What's an Abonimation? WTFOP?

I use Fluid Aura on occasion, but only if I can aim it into a wall where it won't interrupt melee range. Or if it's attacking me and the tank isn't attempting to get it off.

150 potency, 0 mp cost. It's a great DPS tool when used considerately, if something is immune to knock backs or I know that something is going to die as or directly after I use it, then I do so.

As far as prioritising CC goes, I suspect that stems from newer healers simply not trusting tanks to get agro on everything. A low levels this is a pretty fair stance to take. Easily solved with a bit of communication imo!
