I'm pretty sure this kind of content is coming. There's no reason not to have Empire involvement in the future. You guys just need to chill.

Of all the strange ideas on the forums, I actually like this one. The moon is very much Final Fantasy. I ask that SE does not do throw backs to FFIV or any other previous FFs (at least not from the start). It also allows for stranger creatures. I can dig it... 2 or 3 expansions from now.

...Final Fantasy XIV already has advanced technology... You DO know about the Garlean Empire, right? I'm assuming you've played more than just an hour of the game here.

Their technology is seemingly as advanced as FFXII's Arcadian Empire if not moreso, but has the aesthetic design of FFVI's Gestahl Empire

Lol no but seriously... how do you guys think about having some kind of FF XII technology. I always liked how Final Fantasy could blend Medieval/Fantasy themes with Futuristic technologies.

Look at FF VI, FFX, FF XII ... i may be forgetting other examples.

How about a high-tech city with FFXII style technology? Or with FF VI style steampunk tech.

It could also open the door to new crafting classes.

So there I was.. I was looking at the boards.. and I saw a thread titled "Thread: Moon content! No seriously i mean it..."

I waited a minute.. I just stared.. Then I prepared myself to facepalm...

After having read it, I feel that I just need to walk away. I don't think it's half bad of an idea. The presentation may have been light hearted and silly, but there is a lot of FF history involving Sky, and several games had space tech (xii) and blended it well enough.

Just gonna walk away now..

I think the devs need to focus on game mechanics first, not that Im not for new game contant I just think there are plenty of hurdles ahead of the devs before we see any new content and not to rain on peoples parade, once the kinks have been worked out and everyone is happy, I dont think we will have much say in new game content. Or maybe, you never know, Yoshi-P is the man

The point was that he didn't realize the stuff was already in the game, and I pointed it out to him, for which he seemed to be grateful.
