I'd be really interested to see something like a debuff you place on the enemy which causes all damage to the enemy to be returned to the person dealing damage as health. For someone like SCH that would really help with AOE healing without being too broken if the buff only lasted 10-15 seconds.
Additionally, perhaps more battlefield-shaping abilities for SCH such as creating 'repel' zones on the ground that bounce enemies away/out of them until they fade, or movable 'channelled' walls allowing them to direct enemies a certain way/stop projectiles, etc.

Swiftcast-->Shadow Flare is kind of the norm for dungeon pulls, already. IMO let AoE CC continue to be one of the trademarks of the WHM. I like that they have that little extra to contribute to trash pulls since SCH excels at sustained DPS and simultaneous tank shielding instead.
Hm. Maybe a trait that allows Raise to be cast on targets before they die? We'll finally have Auto-Raise.

I think I would like some different things from whm and scholar. Don't get me wrong, the basic aoe stoneskin would be wonderful, would would an esuna that was aoe. However, why not take this into a different path? How about getting a buff we can cast that allows for...say 30 seconds, for 10% of damage dealt to a mob be returned to the one with the buff as healing? sort of mix it up. We don't need an aoe regen, we already have that in medica II. We don't need a more powerful cure like cure IV, your skills power up as you get more stat boosts. Cure will always be viable and so will cure II, I don't see those needing more of an oomph to them. A trait that allows stoneskin to be aoe outside of battle would be nice, inside battle that's too easy to abuse. Haste would be nice as well, instead of doing anything crazy, just have it up the auto attack of the target a bit, nothing game breaking, just another nice buff. I seriously don't think whm needs any more damage skills, people push us to DPS enough as it is, we don't need another skill to confuse newcomers to the class and let people die while the healer is in cleric stance because people can't let healers heal first and dps when they are ready or comfortable with it. Another option is to provide a regen like tick for your mp that's greater than shroud, shroud is pathetic at the moment, the enmity drop is nice, but it's just not good enough.
For scholar, I think having a second shield type would be nice. adding a spell or skill that is a single target that, for instance, prevents a status ailment would be a nice addition. Maybe a separate skill for magic damage mitigation, while they have protect in cross classing, perhaps they can get a huge magic defense bonus.

i want a cooldown that increases the range of my healing spells

some things im missing on WHM:
- esuna II to remove 2 debuffs at once
- some kind of "aoe esuna" (not really fun dispeling 8 ppl one after another), dont care if it has high mp cost and/or cd but would be nice for emergencies
- a decent way to get mp back, especially when being solo since aero(II) and stone(II) burns mp way faster then we get it back from that stupid 2min cd skill
- you guessed it: aoe stoneskin
I saw some nice ideas in this topic but imo some of them need some tunning to be viable in-game; I'll list a few.
Auto-Raise: I can see this in game but not as most people would like to. A skill with no cast time and long cooldown (~3 minutes) that places a buff with a short duration(3~5 seconds) that auto-raises the target if he dies during the duration. Yes, a poor man's Benediction.
AoE Esuna: The only places where I see this being usefull are Mog EX and Savage Turn 7 (Most likely i'm forgetting some other things) but in both cases it would be OP as hell. IMO this would only be viable if it had a hugeass cast time (~4 seconds), forcing you to time it perfectly.
AoE Stoneskin: Only outside of combat, just as a quility of life thing. In combat it would be way too strong to deal with raidwide damage such as turn 9 megaflare
CD to increase healing range: I actually like this one a lot. Just a little more utility, nothing too strong.
