you only need to kill 2 tentacle near the entrance and stay at that side then caster like BLM can hit the boss, no need to kill all tentacle. About world end, IF the hp of caster (assume ilvl 100) is full or at 3k hp, you will not die, world end deal around 2k+ dmg

An easier way to deal with the fight (albeit, takes a bit longer) is to focus down the {Krakens Arms} and ignore the Tentacles. Kill enough Arms and he wont do the KO shot.
It take slonger because you're spending less time on boss, but it makes the fight pretty easy.
Krakens Arms -> Kraken Main Body - ignore Tentacles.

Wasn't the skill Stranger's Tides?

World End is the spinning whirlwind ? I see the word : World End pop but all I do is loss a few K hp (2k+) and not even down to 1k

I ran the dungeon 2 times yesterday with 2 different group, 1 DF and 1 pre-make

the first group we only kill 2 (arm or tentacle doesn't matter, just 2) and we sometime got the spinning whirlwind that does some k dmg (2k+)
the second group we kill everything and we don't get any of the whirlwind

So I gues it was luck that my first group advoide the one shot mechanic ?

Its based on the number of Arms he has when the spell is ready. As long as you're killing some of them, it wont be a one shot. Kill enough and he wont do it at all. Makes it easier on your healer and lets them do DPS on the main body.

If you kill ONLY the Arms he can't use the whirlwind on you.

Also for the second boss, can confirm it is 100% just damage. I had people telling me to run behind him, run between him and the player, stun him, none of that works. Just stand still and do damage.
