I play both genders because I like the femininity of one and masculinity of the other. Making armours from both genders look the same is something hardly anyone wants and those that do want it would whine and complain if had to wear an ugly male/female version just because both gendered versions had to look the same as the ugly gendered one. As long as you have choices which you very much do if don't like the look of a set for whatever reason then it's fine as it stands for me.
You prefer the male version? play a male character. Also have the option if I don't like a specific set or armour to glamour it, I have glamoured a lot of armour in this game for both male and female versions because I did not like something about them but I don't come screaming and whining on here every time a set pops up that has one or more things I do not like...whether one covers too little or one covers too much, whether do not like the shape or the colour of a certain piece within a set we have the option of changing it one way or another to something we do like but you are not required to like every gear set or every piece from every set.
In the end can't please everyone all of the time but some women like the female current version of that armour and some don't, some men like the current female version of it and some don't but not every armour must conform to only your preferences. I dislike the colosseum armour for example on female characters and male ones but you don't see me whining about it all the time because it's one armour set out of a vast array of others and if I do not like something about it I glamour to replace it with one I do like.
Not every piece of armour is going to look exactly how you want it in game but at least you have the option of replacing it visually with one do like and have the option of playing a female or male version is prefer how their armours look. Differences is good, choices is good and we have both those things of which I am glad.
