Duty Finder Woes

So i like 98% of you are leveling rogue. And its fun i like it reminds me of THF in some ways . Execpt for how sneek attack is done in front and not in back same for TA its in back and not front . But let me get back on point . Anyone else having DF ques way WAY to long ? I was in a que for low level daily roulette on rogue and had no pops and no one was joing not even a DPS . I switched to bard and had a 9min pop and it had 2 DPS and a healer so i backed out because i want to level rogue. And it was the same 1 hour plus and never qued and never added anyone . Fate grinding blows . But more over if DF is random then why was it not including anyone in it while on rogue?

If you're BRD is higher level, it will have a wider pool of dungeons to pull from that may have people qued up for it.

This. Plus Ranged dps and Melee dps queues are separate.

Aye , my bard is IL109. But again not even one DPS was in my que when i was qued on rogue. Tank 0/1 healer 0/1 DPS 1/2 never 2/2 just found that odd.

It's the separation of melee and ranged that causes your problem. Queue on ROG and you're in line with a million of them. Each time a ranged DPS queues up they get in as the DF will prioritize a melee/ranged combo over double melee even if the next melee has been waiting longer in the queue.

You know when I finally got into Sastasha... Our tank showed up in his Yukata and a Weathered Axe... The healer had more HP than he did. So we tanked it as rogues... healer had no real troubles... It really is time to at least open up the lower dungeons to different party make ups. We didn't even rage the tank... as a matter of fact had a good conversation with him. Just happy to finally get in a dungeon.

Considering below level 30 anyone can put cure, physick and second wind on their bar.
Also considering the fact that anyone who happens to be a new player will not stick to a game where their first 3 instances take a ridiculous amount of time to queue.

At least let people have a choice "Traditional Set-up" or "Any Setup"

They can't do that...that would completely segregate the DF queues as you would not be able to put "Traditional" and "Any" in the same pool, making the queues for each type all that much longer. This is what the Party Finder is for. You'd be surprised how fast a 4-man can fill up on the PF even for unusual party makeups. Heck ask your FC/LS mates. Be social. The Duty Finder needs to be as general as possible or the queue time problems just get worse.

Yah, people should not be expecting anything short of hours in duty finder. Everyone is having the same idea as you. "Level rogue". Its not too surprising, its the new job. when DRK is released, a lot of people will try it, and we'll probably see a shortage of healers.

That said, Party finder is actually a good way. If you can find 3 DD and a healer you could probably do most every low level dungeon no problem, otherwise, ask your friends or shout/yell/etc with PF up. Most people will be FATE grinding of course because again... everyones ROG just like you XD
