Separating the looks from a genderless armor base (tin can) to a tin can and "female" version, would meet the definition of sexism. Particular because the female version we all know people are requesting is one with more windows to the body.Gonna get flack, and I don't care: Using the sexism argument without realizing what sexism IS might as well be the equivalent of being blind and saying something is too bright.
1. prejudice or discrimination based on sex
2. behavior, conditions, or attitudes that foster stereotypes of social roles based on sex
"But Xhominid, the 2nd one could easily lead to sexism" No, it cannot. This game has been RIDICULOUSLY conservative and having options is NOT a problem. If this was TERA, you would have a point, but having only ONE singular option to be a tin can is just as bad as having just one option to be nothing but bra and panties.

No you can't not here at least, everything leads to sexism here.
No, but the argument that it should be specifically the female version that's made more sexy is sexist. If someone wants both male and female versions to be made more sexy, then the only arguments would be about whether that's a suitably "dark knight" sort of style. Since the request was specific to the female version, however, there's the added sexist element to it.
For the last time, no it does not. Alot of people like pointing to that but what they truly mean is stereotypes, which AGAIN, is not sexist by itself. For this entire game, there have been LOTS of armors that have covered the females more often than never. Simply that being the ONLY option is STILL as bad as the ones with the only option being bra and panties because there's no real options past glamouring, which if that's the case, what's the point? There has been no option whatsoever to have an armor that even REMOTELY looks like Livia's, atleast that would be an improvement over Tin Can #7034
You're making some assumptions with that statement.
From what I've seen I think that a lot of the people here requesting sexy outfits are female, or play female characters, and are specifically speaking to the fact that they want their character to be sexy, or at the very least feminine - specifically in the dark knight armor. There is nothing wrong with or shameful about the desire to look sexy, or even to see sexy things. The thread is not about men, or male characters, it is about females and players with female characters. I don't want my female characters to look cute/sexy for you, I want them to look cute/sexy for me.
I also don't really think that there is a wrong stance on this conversation, just two different opinions. Some people want to look cute, some people want to look sexy, and some people want to look cool. It's up to each player how they want their characters to look, and I think that it's important that we have options.
asking for more female figure (according to the figures in the game) =/= asking for an armor that has less plates than a coin (OP even said the exposed belly was a joke)
case in point

I care not for how much skin I'm showing, but using that Soldiery tank body with the Spartan abs and shoulders....Sorry, but female characters have breasts. Armors that don't even have that distinct difference for males and females, it's as wrong as placing bouncy breasts on ALL male characters, since females no longer show, but have massive abs.
Overall IMO, Dark Knight AF can cover every ounce of my skin, but let it be known that I'm a woman underneath all of that.
From other people's point of view, I look like a monster. I'm a stupid woman who imagines she can create a happy life by piling up her sins
