I know I'm yelling uphill at avalanche here cause a. game b. fantasy genre, but you -don't- want boob caves in your armor as a female, it doesn't have a functional or practical application 'irl'.

Which is why if we were to argue sexism as long as anything not particular male is promoted, six pack is -not- only male, protection is not only male, then there really isn't a male armor and the least sexist option would be where all armor would very similar and genderless. Wanting the difference is more a slippery slope than not requesting one.

While I don't want to wear skimpy armor as a Dark Knight, the request to make both male and female similarly less clad was quite fair... But I'd rather be clad in armor xD

I doubt SE would want to DK armor like Cross Ange see
    http://crossange.com/character/

Or like Queen's Blade Echidna. But it would be more interesting to see more variety, so people aren't just glamouring the Colliseum set or bikini's.

And it would be a real riot if they did something like Nyaruko's CQC combat armor set.

SE seems to take gender equality pretty seriously in their designs (and were among the earlier game companies to do so). This game is no exception. It has both skimpy and fully armored styles available, but where an item is skimpy, it's equally skimpy for both males and females, and equipment that provides full coverage does so for both genders as well. I don't think they're going to change that rule now. They'd get too many complaints about it if they did.

    Please.. Please god no.
One of the biggest reasons I love this game is because of the more practical looking gear for both males AND females.
There are already pleeeenty of games where plate armor for females just has a massive boob window while the male version is completely protected. Please don't let that happen here.

    Looks form fitting to me?

Going with the dark intimidating look and being a tank job I think it would lose it's overall aesthetic if you changed it up.

And since this and other jobs are coming with the expansion I would expect there to be a lot of other armor options to glamour for those that do want to change it.

Gonna get flack, and I don't care: Using the sexism argument without realizing what sexism IS might as well be the equivalent of being blind and saying something is too bright.
    1. prejudice or discrimination based on sex
    2. behavior, conditions, or attitudes that foster stereotypes of social roles based on sex
"But Xhominid, the 2nd one could easily lead to sexism" No, it cannot. This game has been RIDICULOUSLY conservative and having options is NOT a problem. If this was TERA, you would have a point, but having only ONE singular option to be a tin can is just as bad as having just one option to be nothing but bra and panties.

Thank you. That is exactly what the look is yet users want to use the skimpy approach to defend those who would like armor that if more feminine. Showing a little skin isn't necessarily bad but that doesn't have to be the case.

No getting any flack from me.

Oh give it a rest. I don't need to inpune anyone's opinion to make a point. Sorry if calling your beloved suit of armor a tin can upsets you that much but I seriously don't find that armor special at all and certainly not for females. I'm entitled to my view and I'll certainly not be afraid to express it.

I'm not saying the game has too much sexist stuff. Actually I'm glad there's no difference between genders and I don't want it to change. If you don'y like it the way it is, you can glamour and look like someone that only cares about showing your body instead of your strength.

I'm a woman (LOLOLO THERE'S NO GIRLS IN THE INTERNET) and I'm pissed with the way devs from other games treat the female gender.
