There are other threads about this. Why do you want to derail this thread?I think SE is too *** to respond to us atm. They're terrified and waiting a few days or a week to see how this turns out. They don't need to listen to all our input, but they do have to listen to the SP/EXP issue (it's just too big not to).
Maybe they thought they could get by with the bare foundation system until exp chains & what not are added. And then here we are being told to wait... again.

Nice try, but i actually read around here. There's a thread for bitching about the SP already. It's here. This thread is for talking about why no one is working together to make lemonade out of these lemons. As has been said in this topic, and as your post shows, whining is easier.
The idea of a community is nothing but a dream until people can actually enjoy playing this game realistically. The community will come together when there's something to come together for. Even then there will be whiny bitches, but at least there will be something worth fighting for amongst the sea of "wahhhhhhhhhh".
Until that monumental realization of the community, it's just naive to expect anything until then. And we won't be at that point until SE places us in a position to be at that point. Until then, here we are.

State the obvious much? Everyone knows this is just the foundation of changes & that we'll be continually waiting for more (end of summer and later). If by realistically you mean the easy mode it has been, go play something else. 1.18 was not the be all end all of the class and SP changes, but god forbid people like you and the people starting the many bitch threads acknowledge this and think of anything but what your outrageously vocal minority want. If you're gonna do nothing but whine about the changes, go find one of the many threads currently participating in the mindset of waahwaah and post there.
Red is why we don't have a community. Stop holding grudges and talking sh!t on people. Stop being such a h8er/troll. It's like 1 person says anything "wrong" and then they are condemned forever & looked down upon, wtf is with you people.
Bottom line, this community isn't improving & it's futile to imagine it will anytime soon.
You really like double standards.State the obvious much? Everyone knows this is just the foundation of changes & that we'll be continually waiting for more (end of summer and later).

The double standard is that your first post in this thread was vulgar and off topic. There were other threads already established about the much debated SP issue. Yet you felt the need to thread jack by whining about an off-topic issue. That is the double-standard. If some posters actually thought before hitting reply, then we wouldn't have this issue.
Your second post while on-topic was rather condescending and you assumed that because you were told to stay on topic that we were holding a grudge against you. I have no grudge against you, I just would prefer that people don't condescendingly intrude in threads with off-topic banter.
I think you need to learn a valuable lesson. If you want to articulate your opinion and win people to your side of the discussion, it is better to do it in a less negative and rude fashion.

Agree. Also if they didn't sign up on the forum in March or have a decent lolPostCount they are condemned. We don't have much of a community because it's the same people over and over and over and over again doing nothing but complaining and carrying the whine casks. Every time there's first time poster who says something good about the patch or how they like it, they're ridiculed because they're not R50 so their opinions don't matter, and anyone who chimes in, in agreement, is also run into the ground. Someone comes on bitching about the game as a first post and they end up with same five or six people from all the other bitch threads welcoming them and their opinion like they're just one of the regulars. Your initial post in this topic proves my point. We don't have a community because the outrageously vocal minority are dead set on running people out.
Also, everyone thinks they're right & tosses "minority" & "majority" around like they know what they're talking about. Please stop, the game's population speaks for itself. You could twist it by thinking that the "majority" is only the people who still play, but it's just not that simple. There are a mass amount of people who are currently not playing & inbetween who should not be unaccounted for.
Nope, you guys were rude and threw around high horse crap: "people like you" etc. The SP issue actually is in the range of this topic, even the OP talked about it somewhat.Originally Posted by AarosLunos

Also, being off topic doesn't = double standard. You guys were actually pretty condescending to me seeing as everything isn't all pony's and rainbows in this futile thread.

....
The dude has a point, I mean, if the community can actually collaborate on figuring out the best leveling spots (which I hear some people have figured out already) it could probably create a better sense of community and we wouldn't be at each other's throats like we seem to be lately. Also, people need to accept that MMOs are constantly changing, just because DoM got hit hard doesn't mean it'll be that way 3 years from now, and the whole SP/EXP thing? I'm sure it'll be changed again sooner or later (although, with people as they are, I wouldn't be surprised if they change it again next patch)
Someone did start another thread for the Limsa area with a map. So some people are trying to figure out what the best methods are. Just some greater collaboration as a whole would really help.....
