ToS/EULA tells you - Your sub grants you access to the game - everything else is up to SE's discretion. You wouldn't be playing ARR right now if you didn't agree to that. This is why it even tells you that you don't even own your character and they can delete that or your account if they just decide to wake up one day and figure your character data is taking precious space in the database. Not that they would, but you agreed to allow them to.

Define correctly? Because every update since even 1.0 days everything has been implemented correctly in the sense it's not broken.

Firstly, I was asking what the revenue from subs pays for- not what we get from it. If subs aren't enough to fund the game, then the cash shop is being forced because the game has money problems.... that is a bigger problem.

As far as the ToS. Yeah, that isn't a definition of what it gets you. It's a giant disclaimer that content may change. ToS isn't an excuse for anything, it's also not permanent or binding. So, please stop with the ToS broken record. It doesn't make anything good business or a good idea. Players can still cancel and walk away when SE does crappy stuff.

Funny how ARR is still utilizing content and systems introduced in 1.0 - 1.23, therefore it was clearly "implemented correctly", hence I asked you to define: "Correctly", because it clearly was correct enough to retain the armory system, the guildleve system, the concept of DoH/DoL as their own classes so on and so forth (not even getting into the yoshida era of updates that retained on the "broken engine.")

It's only "generic" when it kills your argument - you do not hit "I agree" if you disagree with it, why is that so hard for people to understand?

Sub fee is money to SE which goes to whatever SE feels - They're a business. Do you work? Pretty much every company allocates any gross revenue into various areas, not solely to one aspect. FFXI funded numerous projects and kept SE themselves afloat for numerous years.

It's not money problems - SE sees a business opportunity, they're taking it - They know people will pay for it and thus make more money. SE, once again, is a business. I'm pretty sure you look for opportunities to make money, no?

It does nothing regarding my argument. If you knew what a TOS was, you would know it's nothing but guidelines for users. It has ZERO to do with bad business practices that can cause users to be dissatisfied and leave. ZERO. Please stop trying to fake-lawyer the situation.

We don't know this. All we know is that Yoshi originally said subs would fund the game and no cash shops. Now there's a cash shop. That signals that there could be revenue issues to me- considering he had to go back on his original statements.... and you wonder why I find his illusory promises to be suspect.
